I grew up on the Southside of Chicago as a member of a small family. I was lucky enough to have been introduced to the funeral industry when I was 18 years old. My first experience in the funeral industry was maintaining and managing a pet cemetery and crematory. Later, I began working in a family owned funeral home where I learned not only the processes necessary to serve families, but also the importance of the emotional support and guidance during the most difficult time of their lives. Serving families and remembering one's story became such a passion for me that I knew that was what I wanted to do with my life.
I eventually made my way to Albuquerque to become part of the FRENCH Family of Companies and have been honored to serve the many cultures of New Mexico. There is no bigger honor than being there for someone when they most need you.
One of my favorite quotations reminds me that life is a gift to be treasured and is something that should be honored: "Every man's life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived and how he died that distinguish one man from another." - Ernest Hemingway
